Why explore therapy?

People seek therapy for a variety of reasons be it grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, anger, challenges in relationships, overall self-exploration, among others. While everyone’s journey is their own, most share a common desire to identify areas in life in which they might be struggling then begin to embrace more adaptive skills in hopes of managing such challenges or modify areas in life that seem not to be serving us.

Self-discovery is not easy and the decision to embark upon this journey is a brave one! My goal is to provide a safe, supportive and nurturing environment where you feel comfortable sharing your story.

Am I the right therapist for you?

Using a client-centered approach, I built my practice around working with adults as well as those within family systems, struggling with mood disorders, substance abuse/addictions as well as life transitions.

My goal is to empower clients on their personal journey through the recovery process by means of utilizing mindfulness techniques, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral, and Brief-Solutions focused therapies, among others. I also embrace less traditional approaches to treatment highlighting fitness, nutrition, and mind/body wellness.

The connection you have with your therapist is deeply personal and finding a therapist with whom you connect is essential in ensuring you have a valuable and successful therapeutic journey.

Phone consultations available and encouraged.
